He was born between 1785 and 1794.
Surely he is descended from James Rigsby + Wilmot Oldham.
He probably is a brother of Russell. They were living in Guilford Co NC in 1820, and in Union Co IN in 1830. [Oldham died before 1830.]
They probably are sons of Travis or Luke. They, Travis, and Travis' son John were the only Rigsbys in Guilford Co NC in 1820. In 1810, though, Oldham and Russell are in Chatham Co NC near Luke and his son John.
Travis' census entries don't contain sons who match Oldham and Russell. Luke does, but only if
Elizabeth is his second wife. Note that Luke is supposed to be s/o James + Wilmot above, but the
dates say they would have to be grandparents.

Were both Revel and Edmund his children? Only one male of the appropriate age appears with them on the census.
