Notes:

[R23]

He was born between 1784 and 1790.
He probably died between 1830 and 1840 in Jefferson Co VA or Berkeley Co VA.

married in Berkeley Co VA

I am not positive that he was the father of George, but it seems very likely.
He must be the father of Susan and Ann. They married in Berkeley Co VA in 1841 and 1845, and
David's was the only Rigsby family there on the 1840 and 1850 censuses. [see notes for his wife]

He may be a son of Drury.
Or he may be the David who was son of William.
Note, however, that this David was in Ashe Co NC when Drury's son Thomas was in neighboring
Wilkes Co, and that David moved to Berkeley and Jefferson Co VA (now WV), which are very near
Fauquier Co VA, where Drury was born.

1830 census Jefferson Co VA p137
David Rigsby 2 M <5, 1 M 40-50, 3 F 10-15, 1 F 40-50
[George 1, David 2, David, Susan 11, Ann 11, x, Margaret]

[I'm not positive this is him, but it pretty much has to be.]

1820 census Berkeley Co VA p83 [sheet is water-damaged and mostly illegible]
David Rigsbey 1 M 26-45, unknown females

Is this him?
1810 census Ashe Co NC p85
D Rigsbey 1 M 16-26, 1 F 26-45, 1 F 45+

[I'm starting to think it isn't. He shouldn't be that far south.]
