Notes:

[R02]

He died between 1850 and 1860.
His mother's name was Tabitha.
I think he was the James who was brother of Frederick and Jesse.
William of Surry Co NC probably had a daughter Tabitha, which suggests William was another brother of this James.

married in Wake Co NC

His children might include: Wooton, Edward, Archibald, Tabby who married in Wake Co NC 1816-07-30 Jesse Sykes
He probably had a daughter Mary 1795 who married Wake Co NC 1821-06-28 Allen Barker.
Was his son John the same as this one?

I'm pretty sure this is the James Rigsby who served in the Revolutionary War.
He enlisted 1782-01-10 in Coleman's Company for 12 months.
He received a pension beginning 1831-03-04. [His age is given as 71 on that date.]

--
On his pension statement he says he was a native of Sampson Co NC.
